What is Water for People?

Water for People helps people improve their quality of life in developing countries by developing locally sustainable:

• Drinking water resources

• Sanitation Facilities

• Health and hygiene education programs

Water and sanitation related disease is the second largest cause of death in the world second to AIDS.  The mission is to, "..have a world were all people have access to safe drinking water and sanitation; where no one suffers or dies from a water of sanitation related disease".  Please visit the Water for People website: http://www.waterforpeople.org/site/pageserver for more information.

Where will the money go?

All of the proceeds from the event will be used to cover event cost or go directly to Water for People.  This is a 100% volunteer supported ride event.  Please take time along the way to thank the many event sponsors and volunteers to making this a fun and safe ride.
